When could an unborn baby be deaf? best answer 10 points!!?

Most unborn babies won't be effected by sound. They are surrounded by fluid which inhibits the sound. Deafness can be hereditary, but in some cases caused by other things. My son's hearing was checked twice before we left the hospital. Unborn babies can't have any illnesses that the mother doesn't have. Other then hereditary deftness the most common one is due to injury or a malformed eardrum. None of which can be detected until after birth.
