I received a text message saying hey how are you i went to see who it was and it was coming from my cell phone?

this kinda scared me i need to know have this happened to anyone before?? i am starting to get freaked out!!!and the cell phone it was coming from was my number as if i texed my self!!!!! do anyone find this scary? and if you know what is going on help me please thanks
