My 5th grade bro has girl problems?

ok so my lil bro is in 5th grade and he really likes this girl... but everyday at recess she kicks him in the back of the foot and his friend was eavesdropping on her and her friend and he heard them say why does he run away from me... does he like me or something? and he really wants to know if she hates him because she says I hate you...I hate you and so on and he wants to know if she likes him... thanks
