Reading to your child?
My husband recently purchased books for our son. He reads him Dr Seuss, Goodnight Moon, The little engine that could etc. He even does the voices. But I just do not get it. I don't want my son to be listening to such drivel. I confronted my husband about this and told him that I will be reading to him from now on and that I will choose the book. But he was puzzled when I told him what sort of material I was using. I began with ens at the start, then moved on to tolstoy and Hemmingway. Our son adores the stories, which is splendid because he will have a headstart in developing him his intellect. But my husband, Karl, says that I'm moving too fast, too ready. He wants me to go back to the easier stories. I Do not know what to do.
