Does anyone else see a case of Frankenstein-Frankenstein's monster in America?

Genocide in Africa, we do nothing and are called out on it. Human rights are violated in China, we do nothing and are called out on it. Child rapist dictator is brought down with military might, we are trying to set up a democracy (thanks for any help, BTW) and we get called out on it. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over?
